Chapter 3

I will make you pay

“Where’s that Violet!”  Hurlist, captain of the Sea Curse shouted.
            “Here sir!”  Violet said nervously.
“Get that stupid bat off me sail! And it better stay below or I kill the retched thing!”
“Right away sir!” Violet started to fulfill the order but Hurlist grabbed her by her long Purplish-brown hair, looked into her eyes and said; “Don’t ever let that thing out again!”
“Yes sir.” Violet said timidly.  Then Hurlist shoved her toward the mast.
            “Sir?”  Gordon asked.
“What is it?” Hurlist was annoyed.
“Not to be doubtful sir but, why are we fallowin’ that ship?”
“Because, Mr. Gordon, that ships captain is the descendant of the same man that robbed my great grand father of all his treasure.”
            “Who?”
“Henry!  Henry the man who stole Black Beard’s treasure and kept it for himself!”
            “Oh,” Gordon said feeling stupid.
The sea curse had been fallowing the Sea Stone for some time now but they had fallen a bit behind in the storm.
“I’ll make that captain pay ten times over for every wrong he did to my great grand father Black Beard.”
Some one on the ship shouted; “Man over board!” all went to see who had fallen off the port side.  In the water there was a beautiful girl with long red hair lying unconscious on a makeshift raft.
            The men hoisted her aboard.
“What should we do with her?” one of the men grunted.
Hurlist stared at her for a moment, “Take her below and put her in chains.”              The crew new better than to ask any questions, so the orders were fulfilled shortly after they were spoken.
“I will make you pay,” Hurlist muttered to himself when he had returned to his place behind the helmsman were he could look out on all the ships activities,
“you filthy descendant of Henry.”
